Winner of the 2009 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World' competition and member of the prestigious Bolshoi Theatre, Ekaterina Scherbachenko is one of the most talented lyric sopranos of her generation. At the Bolshoi, her roles have included Natasha Rostova (War and Peace), Mimi (La Bohème), Liu (Turandot), Tatiana (Onegin), Micaela (Carmen) and the title role of Iolanta. Outside her native Russia, Ekaterina Scherbachenko has appeared on tour with the Bolshoi at the Opéra de Paris (Palais Garnier) and at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
 
			    			
			     
		
	The brilliant Russian mezzo-soprano Ekaterina Semenchuk has completed her studies at the Conservatory of St. Petersburg. In the past seasons, she sang Marina (Boris Godunov), Polina (Pique Dame) at the Metropolitan Opera as well as her first Azucena (Il Trovatore) in Valencia under the direction of Zubin Mehta. She has also sung at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Olga (Eugene Onegin) and the Berlin Staatsoper as Preziosilla  (La Forza del Destino) and Polina (Pique Dame)  under the direction of Daniel Barenboim.
 
			    			
			     
		
	Spanish soprano Elena Sancho-Pereg’s current and future engagements include NORINA Don Pasquale and NURIA Ainadamar Opera de Oviedo, MUSETTA La boheme Vlaamse Opera, DONNA ANNA Don Giovanni Theater Krefeld and FRASQUITA Carmen Arriaga Theatre in Bilbao. In the 2014-2015 season, she joins the ensemble at Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, where roles will include ZERBINETTA Ariadne auf Naxos, GILDA Rigoletto, OSCAR Un ballo in maschera and SOPHIE Werther.
