The Wagner Society
Founded in 1953, and now with over 600 members, The Wagner Society promotes knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the life and works of Richard Wagner. It is affiliated to the Richard Wagner Verband International. The Society holds regular meetings, talks, study days, concerts and master classes in central London, for which a modest charge is made. Members receive a quarterly publication Wagner News, and we have a comprehensive website www.wagnersociety.org. We also support young singers who are pursuing a career in singing Wagner roles.
