Cecil Sharp House
With a unique history stretching back to 1930, the venue - owned and managed by the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) - is a memorial to the folk music and dance collector Cecil Sharp. One of the most legendary and historic venues in London, Cecil Sharp House has served as a location for films, television programmes and fashion shoots. The roster is packed with barn dances, ceilidhs, traditional folk luminaries and the occasional ukulele shenanigan. The House has also played host to some of the biggest names in folk and popular music.

For hundreds of years, the daily worship of God has been at the heart of the life of Chichester Cathedral. That living tradition continues today with choral services, sung by the magnificent Cathedral Choir and accompanied by our professional musicians. For music lovers, we also host a series of term-time classical concerts, running Tuesdays at 1.10pm, with an audience of 450.
