Cheltenham Bach Choir 'Festival of the Baroque' Singing Competition
The Cheltenham Bach Choir holds an annual Singing Competition for young professional singers as part of its ‘Spring Festival of the Baroque’ in Cheltenham. This competition aims to discover and encourage talented young professional singers of Baroque music up to the age of twenty-eight. Contestants compete for the Cedric Virgin Memorial Prize of £500. The winner also has the opportunity to perform with the Cheltenham Bach Choir and a professional orchestra. The competition is judged by three well known professional singers.
