Peter Donohoe and Noriko Ogawa, two of Britain’s finest pianists, collaborate again to reaffirm their highly regarded working relationship, performing a wide variety of repertoire for two pianos. Both highly acclaimed for their expertise in Romantic repertoire they perform with enviable rapport and panache.
2015 saw them perform together as part of the ‘Ravel and Rachmaninov’ festival in Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall where Noriko Ogawa is an Associate Artist.
Their programmes includes works by Mozart, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, and Saint-Saëns.
In 2009 Maestro Peter Feranec was appointed as a new principal conductor and music director at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St.Petersburg. In 1995 Peter Feranec was also appointed the principal conductor at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow - which made him the first foreign-born principal conductor (and also the youngest one ). At the this theatre he led various new productions: Lucia di Lammermoor, La Boheme, La Traviata ( Season 1995/96 ), Pique Dame, Aida (1996/97), Love for three Oranges (1997/98) with Sir Peter Ustinov as stage-director and other 18 operatic tittles from Bolshoi repertoire.
