Anthony Negus is Music Director of Longborough Festival Opera and gained international authority as a conductor and coach of Wagner’s works. At LFO he conducted the acclaimed Ring Cycle in 2013, Tristan und Isolde in 2015 and Tannhäuser in 2016. In 2017 he returns for a revival of Tristan and a new production of The Magic Flute. He is also Music Director of Opra Cymru.

Antoine Mitchell studied at Trinity College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music and then the Accademia Musicale Chigiana with Franco Ferrara. He also studied with Carlo Maria Giulini and Paul Badura Skoda. Orchestras he has conducted include: Lublin State Philharmonic, Chamber Ensemble, Czech Philharmonic, Estonian State Symphony, Cairo Symphony, Essex Symphony, Southend Symphony, Essex Youth, Festival Internacional de Primavera Andres Segovia and the Orquesta de la Communidad de Madrid. Since 1989 he has been the director of Oriflamme Ensemble. He is a member of the RSM and Associate of RAM.
