David is a highly experienced performer and manager having worked for over thirty years in many different countries as a musician and artistic director. With a portfolio career, David conducts and plays as a freelance musician, and also lectures in Strategic Management, Music, and History at The Open University. He holds Fellowships of the main British music conservatoires, several degrees in music, a masters in music technology, an MBA, and PhD in historical musicology. A qualified teacher at further and higher education, David holds both a PGCE(QTS) and FHEA.
