Austrian tenor Thomas Ebenstein studied singing with Helena Łazarska at the Vienna University of Music and Dramatic Arts and graduated with honours in 2004. He also studied German Lied with Robert Holl. In 2001 he won the International Antonin Dvořak Competition in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic), in 2003 the Musica Juventutis Competition at the Vienna Konzerthaus and in 2007 the Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation granted him a scholarship for the Bayreuth Festival.

Tom Randle began early studies in conducting and composition, but a scholarship to study voice soon meant a change in career direction. He made his début with the English National Opera as Tamino in The Magic Flute and has repeated the role with great success at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Hamburg, New Zealand and the Covent Garden Festival.
