Gloucestershire Youth Choir (GYC) represents the very best young singers in years 8-13 from across the county's 39 secondary schools. By joining, you'll get the chance to take part in singing courses three times a year during weekends or school holidays, working with vocal tutors and visiting professional singers.
GYC sing a wide variety of music in up to 3 parts, learn everything by ear so you don't need to read music, amd perform in public regularly at GAMD concerts and in collaboration with other GAMD choirs and ens. Alan Vincent founded Kent Chamber Choir in 1983. With some six concerts a year we bring high quality choral singing to towns and villages throughout Kent, occasionally elsewhere in the UK and abroad. Drawing on membership of forty or so singers our repertoire ranges from simple miniatures to complex music for two or more choirs.
Introducing the Kent Youth Choir (KYC), formed in 1983. Our choir brings together talented young musicians from Year 9 to 21 years old. We explore a wide range of advanced choral music from different genres and eras. We've performed in prestigious venues both in the UK and abroad, sharing our love for music with audiences far and wide.
Through residential and non-residential courses in school holidays, members have the chance to study and rehearse music in a focused, creative environment.
