Jeffrey Skidmore OBE is a leading UK choral conductor and is highly regarded by instrumentalists, singers and audiences for the quality of his performances. He founded Ex Cathedra in 1969. He is well-known for exciting programming which is often challenging but always accessible. Jeffrey is a pioneer in the research and performance of choral works of the 16th-18th centuries, particularly French and Latin American Baroque music, and has commissioned more than 30 new works. He has worked with the CBSO, the OAE, Aalborg Sinfoniorkester, Sinfonia New York, and the BBC Singers amongst others.
