John is an experienced concert singer and has sung solo with the BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Guiyang Symphony Orchestra, All Souls Orchestra, British Sinfonia and others. John sight reads to a high level.

Duo sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms, piano concertos by Michael Nyman and John Ireland, chamber music with the Nash Ensemble and jazzier repertoire with John Harle. The final disc in his complete edition of John Ireland’s piano music was “editor’s choice” in Gramophone and included in the i-tunes list of “best of 2011″. John Lenehan has written and arranged for Angelika Kirchschlager, Nigel Kennedy, Julian Lloyd Webber, Tasmin Little and Emma Johnson.
