He started his singing studies in 1997 in Lecce under the guidance of the Soprano Maria Mazzotta. In 2004 he sang as Escamillo in CARMEN in Spain, performing in 22 different cities. In 2006 he was the winner of the competition "Voci Verdiane" in Busseto. In February 2007, he debuted as Sharpless in MADAMA BUTTERFLY at Teatro Alla Scala of Milan under M. Myung-Whun Chung’s conduction and under Keita Asari’s direction.
Claus Peter Flor is respected worldwide as a hugely gifted conductor with remarkably instinctive musicianship. Mr. Flor continues to work internationally at a high level; last season’s highlights included his return to the Orchestre Philharmonique de Strasbourg, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Verdi di Milano and the Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra among others. This season’s highlights included performances with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, China National Symphony, Frankfurter Museumsorchester, and a return to the Residentie Orkest.
Claves is a Swiss record label, founded in 1968 in Thun. Since 2002, Claves is located in Pully (VD).
Dedicated to every kind of classical music, Claves likes to give priority to young artists, renowned musicians playing rare repertoires, Swiss interpreters and composers, works previously unreleased on CD, and historical re-releases.
The independent label's fame was first acquired thanks to two Swiss interpreters who are still active today: pianist, harpsichordist and conductor Jörg Ewald Dähler and flautist Peter-Lukas Graf, who made many recordings that are still in great demand today.
