5 Choirs for age range 5 to 19 years: Foundation Choir 6 - 8yrs SA, Junior Choir 8 - 11yrs SSA, Training Choir 11 - 15yrs SAB and SATB, Main Youth Choir 14 - 19yrs SSAATTBB, Chamber Choir SSATB. All groups have weekly rehearsals on Friday evenings in term times, plus group and individual vocal coaching, residential courses, and tours. All applicants are accepted, audition is only used to place individuals into appropriate group according to ability and experience. Total number of members: 150- 175.

A graduate of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House in 2013, Polish mezzo-soprano Hanna Hipp has been described as a singer who “lights up the stage” (Opera Britannia). Ms. Hipp starts the 2014-15 season singing Ramiro in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera with Glyndebourne On Tour and then takes the stage at Teatr Wielki in Warsaw as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly in a production by Mariusz Treliński. She makes her house debut at the Teatro alla Scala as Mercédès in Georges Bizet’s Carmen under Massimo Zanetti.
