The museum is also a fine period house showing the "upstairs-downstairs" way of life in times past, including a Victorian kitchen and laundry, elegant Regency drawing room and Edwardian nursery. Children's holiday activities, school sessions and group tours available. Opening hours: February to end May, and October – mid December: Tuesday–Saturday 10am–4pm.
