Last year, the tenor returned to the Metropolitan Opera in Madama Butterfly in two series of performances led by Marco Armiliato and Philippe Auguin.
Mezzo-soprano Adrian Angelico defines himself as a man after many years as Angelica Voje. He is obviously fit for any trouser mezzo role and has already stared as Der Komponist, Octavian and Cherubino in Scandinavian top houses. He is one of the very few transgender high level opera singers in the world.
