Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra has an outstanding reputation. Bringing together over 100 musicians, it regularly performs with internationally renowned conductors such as Jac van Steen, Franz Anton Krager, Paul Mann, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Paul McCreesh, David Hill & Sir Mark Elder. The CSO’s catalogue of recordings rivals that of many professional organisations. The orchestra performs at many major venues in the country such as the Barbican, The Bridgewater Hall, Cadogan Hall, Royal Opera House and Royal Festival Hall – and at festivals nationwide & internationally.
