Novosibirsk Theatre is one of the largest theatres in the country. It is unique regarding its size and the swing of its creative life. The theatre is called the Age mate of Vicory. Evacuated treasures of Moscow and Leningrad were safe kept in the theatre during the 1940-1945 war. The Opera House is the most beautiful building in Novosibirsk. This project received the Gold Medal of Paris World Exhibition in 1937. Throughout its history the Theatre has produced more than 340 opera and ballet productions, many of which were included in the “gold reserve” of the national theatre.
