Vienna, with its fruitful tension between tradition and innovation, inspires the Austrian violinist and conductor Ernst Kovacic. A regular visitor to Britain, Ernst Kovacic has worked with all of the major UK orchestras, most recently appearing with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra performing Gyorgy Ligeti’s Violin Concerto and later performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with the Ulster Orchestra. Ernst Kovacic is a leading performer throughout Europe and the USA. His recent guest engagements include appearances with the Vienna Philharmonic and Vienna Symphony.
