Teaching programme built on the principles of Zoltan Kodaly integrating instrumental study with aural training and musicianship. Kindergarten begins from 18 months and centres around the 'Singing Rascals' and 'Rhythm Rascals' books. Between 5-7 years old, when the child is ready, instrumental lessons begin. Uniquely, colours are used instead of letter names for the strings, in addition to child-friendly characters, and extensive use of natural harmonics to develop left hand position without pressing, and for shifting the length of the fingerboard, from near the very start of learning.
