University for artistic training in music, theatre, dance, design and academic studies. Locations in Essen, Duisburg, Bochum, Dortmund. In addition to instrumental training, courses offered inc jazz, musical theatre, voice, comp and conducting, as well as postgraduate and supplementary courses in chmbr music, concert performance and orch performance; also training in musicology, music pedagogy and school music teaching. All courses are currently taught in modules and are adapted to Bachelor's/Master's programmes.
