Forest of Dean Area Wind Band caters for all Brass, Woodwind and Percussion players aged 7 and over of all standards. It doesn't matter if you only know a few notes or if you are playing at Grade 8 standard, as we have a range of Wind Bands playing at varying levels from our Starter Band (ideal for those who only know a few notes, who have been part of a Whole Class music scheme or taken part in a GM First Access course) to our award-winning Area Wind Band which regularly participates in national events such as the National Festival of Music for Youth and the National Concert Band Festival
