Chopin Foundation presents the National Chopin Piano Competition, as its main program. Eligibility: Open exclusively to American pianists aged 16-30. Requirements of the Chopin Competition of the USA: syllabus reflects requirements of the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Prizes: 1st prize $75,000 and concert engagements, second prize $35,000. Two top winners automatically admitted to the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Entry fees: $100. Location: Miami, Florida. Dates: February 22 - March 1, 2020. Closing date for applications: November 1, 2019. Frequency: Quinquennial.
