AGO National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance
Eligibility: Open to organists aged 22-32 at the time of competition; online application at www.agohq.org. Procedure: 1 initial application/recorded round from which up to nine semifinalists will be chosen, followed by a semifinal and final round. Prizes: 1st prize $13,000, CD recording, and career assistance; 2nd prize $5,000, 3rd prize $3,000; audience prize $1,000. Entry fees: $75 for AGO members and $125 for non-members. Location: Varies depending on the location of the biennial National Convention. Dates: Initial application tentative deadline, October, 2021. Frequency: Biennial.
