Pablo Sarasate International Violin Competition
Competition organised as a tribute to the Pamplona-born violinist by the Government of Navarra's Dept of Culture and Tourism. One objective is to discover young talent in the violin world and help such musicians at the beginning of their careers. Jury chaired by Vladimir Spivakov. Eligibility: Open to violinists aged 15-27. Prizes: Total amount EUR 38,700 plus engagements. Entry fees: EUR 60. Location: Pamplona. Frequency: Biennial.
