International String Quartet Competition "Premio Paolo Borciani"
Board and lodging offered to all admitted quartets. Eligibility: Total age of the members may not exceed 128. Requirements: Candidates chosen by preselection. Prizes: 1st prize € 25,000, plus international tour and residency projects; 2nd prize € 10,000; 3rd prize € 5,000; Special prize for best performance of the commissioned quartet € 2,000; Public's Prize € 1,000. Entry fee: € 150. Location: Reggio Emilia. Dates of the 12th edition: 7-14 June 2020. Closing date for applications: 31 January 2020. Frequency: Triennial.
