James Barralet
Cellist, James Barralet has given recitals at many of the UK's major venues and recorded three solo CDs for Landor and SOMM records. Artistic director of the Whittington Chamber Music Fesitval, he is in strong demand as a chamber musician. As a composer, he has an extensive collection of cello ensemble pieces, with commissions from Beijing Music Festival, Cello 8ctet Amsterdam, Royal Academy, STOMP Korea, Mecklenberg. He is also an experienced orchestral section leader, lover of Indian music, and experienced education workshop leader.
