The ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Awards
Annual award to encourage talented young jazz comps. Eligibility: Open to those aged under 30 on 31 Jan who are US citizens, permanent residents of the US, or those with student visas. Requirements: Applicants must submit application form, notated score of one comp, CD or cassette of comp submitted, biographical information. Prizes: $25,000 given in prizes. Location: New York.
