The London Philharmonic Education Department aims to provide a link between the orch and the community extending the limits of traditional concert-going. Its education programme involves players in youth projects, community ens, primary, secondary and special schools as well as reaching out to groups unable to attend concert hall performances. It runs pre-professional development programmes for talented young musicians and to support emerging comps and conductors. The Education Department is committed to generating creative environments in response to the specific needs of each group.
