Centre for Young Musicians
Specialist training for young musicians. Holiday courses such as the LYWB & London Schools Symphony Orchestra give students wider opportunities as well as providing access to an alternative progression route for those not attending the Sat centre. Awards:75 students receive support from the DfE NGMD scheme & 25 through Guildhall young artists. Bursaries available through CYM's charity, the Foundation for Young Musicians, in cases of financial hardship. Entry requirements: Age 5 for entrance into Primary Years Programme, Age 8 with at least 1 yr's performing experience for main school
