Founded in 1995 by David Blake with Bill Colleran, the University of York Music Press (UYMP) catalogue includes diverse and acclaimed composers such as Elisabeth Lutyens, Sadie Harrison, James Weeks, Jo Kondo and Hilda Paredes. UYMP provides a strong voice for emerging compositional talent with a number of unique anthologies. Endorsed by Edexcel, UYMP is also pioneering a range of educational resources. UYMP is supported by The RVW Trust, Arts Council England and The Heslington Foundation for Music and Associated Arts.
