Taking place in the second week of August on the scenic Newton Park Campus, the Summer School and Festival offers an intensive and fun week learning new guitar skills and improving playing. There’s something for everyone with concerts and classes in a variety of genres including jazz, blues, rock, funk, acoustic, beginner's electric and classical guitar plus a brand new flamenco guitar course. Students can join evening jamming sessions and get free entry into the lunchtime and evening concerts by world-renowned guitarists and talented young artists.

A 10-day intensive program for classical singers in Tuscany, Italy. Masterclasses in vocal technique and repertoire will be offered as well as daily individualized instruction with soprano, Valerie Girard, English pianist/conductor James Gray and internationally active pianist/conductor Marioara Trifan.
The program will culminate in an open-air concert for all participants. Auditors are also welcome.

For almost 40 years a summer festival in Cumbria, is changing its pattern of activity. It will include a series of festival and Concerts. by selected performers, and the young artists will also be offered coaching by performers appearing at the festival, and public or private masterclasses. From 2018 onwards an intensive spring course for young performers is planned, and the best participants will be offered a platform at the summer festival.
